Mark Human
President, Chief Executive Officer
Mark Human is the President and Chief Executive Officer of HumanIT Solutions, LLC, where he leads the organization’s strategic vision, growth, and delivery of innovative IT solutions across the federal and commercial sectors. A United States Air Force veteran and seasoned technologist, Mark brings more than 30 years of experience in integrating and implementing secure, enterprise-level IT solutions, with a strong focus on supporting Department of Defense missions.
Mark is committed to aligning technology with customer needs while ensuring the protection of critical assets. As a forward-thinking leader, he continuously invests in emerging technologies and professional development, encouraging both himself and his team to pursue advanced certifications and training in areas such as cloud architecture, data management, cybersecurity, and program management.
Beyond his professional responsibilities, Mark is actively engaged in the community. He is a member of organizations including AFCEA and Technology First, and supports initiatives such as the Salute Military Golf Association and the Dayton Special Olympics. He is also dedicated to mentorship, providing guidance to small disadvantaged businesses to help strengthen relationships and expand opportunities within the federal space.
Through his leadership, Mark fosters a culture centered on high-quality client delivery, innovation, and strategic growth, positioning HumanIT as a trusted partner in solving complex IT challenges.

Chris Manier
Vice President of Operations
Chris Manier is the Vice President of Operations at HumanIT Solutions, LLC, where he leads alongside a team of business innovators, strategic partners, and technologists focused on executing strategic initiatives, driving operational excellence, and ensuring consistent, high-quality customer delivery across the organization. In this role, Chris is responsible for aligning operational strategy with business objectives to support scalable growth and superior client outcomes.
Chris brings more than 17 years of leadership experience spanning operations, project management, and government contract management. He has a strong record of optimizing processes, increasing organizational efficiency, and building and leading high-performing teams in complex, fast‑paced environments. Prior to joining HumanIT, Chris held senior leadership roles at Altamira Technologies Corporation and Peerless Technologies Corporation, where he played a key role in implementing innovative operational and programmatic solutions that significantly improved performance and customer satisfaction.
His professional expertise includes government contracts management, program and project management, financial and supply chain management, process improvement, and strategic planning, enabling him to effectively manage risk, deliver results, and support long-term organizational success. Chris has also served on the Board of Directors for the NCMA Dayton Chapter, reflecting his commitment to advancing excellence and best practices within the federal contracting community.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and an MBA from Wright State University, with a concentration in Project Management. He is also a Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM). He is passionate about leveraging data-driven insights, fostering a culture of accountability and engagement, and continuously improving operations to drive sustainable business growth.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys playing golf, spending time with his family, and coaching his sons in basketball, tennis, and soccer—experiences he believes reinforce teamwork, discipline, and balanced leadership. At HumanIT, Chris remains committed to leading transformative initiatives that support the company’s vision and long-term growth, while delivering innovative solutions to address clients’ most complex IT challenges.

Mickey Fernandez
Director of Cyber Security
Mickey Fernandez is the Director of Cyber Security at HumanIT Solutions, LLC, where he leads the development, implementation, and oversight of enterprise cybersecurity strategies and programs. A United States Marine Corps veteran, Mickey brings more than 19 years of experience in information security, risk management, and compliance across complex federal environments.
Mickey has extensive expertise in designing and managing information assurance programs that enable organizations to effectively reduce risk while maintaining compliance with federal and industry standards, including NIST, NSA, DoD, and ISO 27001 frameworks. His background spans both technical and managerial leadership, with a strong focus on security governance, policy development, and operational execution.
He has a proven track record of overseeing day-to-day IT security operations while driving strategic initiatives that strengthen organizational resilience. Known for his ability to navigate complex challenges, Mickey excels in problem solving, stakeholder engagement, and building strong relationships with clients and third-party partners.
Through his leadership, Mickey ensures that HumanIT delivers secure, compliant, and mission-focused solutions that protect critical systems and support evolving cybersecurity demands.

Jeff Polson
Director of Programs, Performance, & Delivery
Jeffrey A. Polson is currently serving as Director of Programs, Performance, & Delivery. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing large-scale IT delivery programs, aligning execution with strategic objectives, and ensuring high-quality performance across complex, multi-team environments supporting federal clients.
With more than 30 years of military and business leadership experience and over two decades in program and project management, Jeff brings deep expertise in IT delivery, operational strategy, and organizational performance. He has a strong track record of leading cross-functional teams, establishing program management governance structures, and driving process improvements that enhance efficiency, compliance, and customer outcomes.
Jeff’s experience spans managing large, distributed teams across development, DevSecOps, data analytics, and operations, with responsibility for P&L oversight, contract execution, and stakeholder engagement. He has led the successful delivery of Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), and Solution-as-a-Service (SOLaaS) initiatives, including enterprise-level contract management and case management systems within secure federal environments.
Jeff holds an MBA from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Mexico, with concentrations in management information systems, marketing, and operations. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Scaled Agile practitioner, with expertise in Agile and SAFe methodologies, strategic planning, and continuous process improvement.
